Thirty years ago, I was living in an apartment in Agoura, California and paying to go to Terri Nunn/Berlin concerts, studying in grad school. There was nothing there but a Carls' Jr. and a supermarket.
Today, Terri Nunn lives in Agoura Hills, CA with a three kids, married to a nice attorney and playing packed shows all over the West Coast rocking out all her old hits.
Agoura Hills has become a rocking town with a very hip cabaret where all the acts come to play called the Canyon Club. Go figure.
Thirty years back, we used to have to drive like fifty miles to find music back then. Homeless people were living in Santa Monica back then. It was just the dirtiest, smelliest place you ever saw. You had to go up to Melrose or to the Roxy to find music then. That was a hike from the Valley.

At the end of the day, Terri Nunn has a terrific voice, both for ballads & for rock.
She still brings it live with energy and full commitment to the crowd. Her backup band now has some outstanding guitar and rhythym work as well. First rate performance work.
According to the Band's website, they are playing the House of Blues in West Hollywood May 26, 2012. They have some other tour dates scheduled.
